Hiding the Emotions

When you are a blogger, you often try to make your innermost thoughts open to the world. Partially for your own sake and partially to let any of your readers who might be feeling the same thing know that they are not alone. Sometimes, however, you can’t express your feelings because the secret is not yours to tell (or at least only yours). Sometimes, you have to keep your mouth shut. As a blogger, it is extremely difficult to write when what is consuming your whole thoughts needs to be kept to just the people who have shared the experience or secret.

Being put through the emotional wringer today (along with the past few days) has been difficult, but we will all be ok. No one is hurt. No one is injured. We just need some time to collect our thoughts. To everyone who might be feeling down recently, you will make it through. Keep your head up and find your little corner of happiness.

About Danielle Beranek

Life can get away from you when being young, married, and still fairly fresh out of college. Taking on a pet, student loans, going back to school, and soon a new house is enough to leave ones head spinning. For me, life is crazy, but only on the outside.

Hi Danielle, just wanted to say that is so true. It seems like you’ve thought a great deal about this and int the end just summed it up neatly. I’ve been struggling with my ‘About’ page since I started my blog. I keep telling myself ‘ this shouldn’t be that hard! But how much do you make public? How much connecting should happen through my words? We live in an age that’s constantly becoming more transparent. It’s a tension for sure! Happy blogging! From one blogger to another 🙂
