Loving Organization

On Monday, I had one of those days where every time you turn around, there is something more to do. I was on the phone for work and writing emails about other things at the same time because that was the only way to get things done kind of day. Surprisingly, thanks to my planner pages I have been printing out and writing on religiously, I was able to accomplish everything. I seriously felt like super woman.

I would like to get the planner I recently ordered though. I decided that it was time to have the expensive planner that could keep track of everything I wanted it to between work, home, and school. So, I got a Franklin Covey one. As soon as it comes, I will geek out and show it to you. Because I want to tell someone about how nice it is and LD just doesn’t care. He’s happy if I’m happy, but seriously, it’s a planner (at least in his mind).

I have always loved organizational items, and thanks to work, I was able to reorganize my office from a bunch of piles of papers on my desk (they were driving me absolutely crazy!) to a nice letter sorter with color coded post-it flags for the different folders. I have desk space again just in time for the new work year and school term! If you are at all like me, you would be really excited right now. I am usually a very organized person, but the desk had become a landing space for both my papers and the ones LD didn’t know what else to do with. Now, I always end my days with a clean desk, everything gets put away and both my sanity and productivity have gone up.

What are you doing to start the new year off right?

About Danielle Beranek

Life can get away from you when being young, married, and still fairly fresh out of college. Taking on a pet, student loans, going back to school, and soon a new house is enough to leave ones head spinning. For me, life is crazy, but only on the outside.
