Tasha’s Homecoming

Yesterday was bring Tasha to the new house day! I knew the house was missing something to make it a home, and our little pupmiester filled a large hole. There seems to be a learning curve with what the rules are for her in the new house, but it is completely understandable when some of them aren’t rules we have had in place before. We’ve never had a fenced in yard before. How would she know how to behave in one? She seems very confused by the lack of leash meaning that she still has to listen and come when called outside. Also, the noises the garage door make are a little scary at the moment, but she is learning that it is ok.

However, that yard is her absolute favorite part of the house. After we came in, she kept asking to go outside.

Eventually, I just grabbed my work and headed outside to the deck so she could run around. Until she knows the rules 100% solidly, I don’t trust her outside in the yard alone. Luckily for us, it was a gorgeous day yesterday. The temperature was in the upper 70s to low 80s and was perfectly sunny. She was one happy pup.

LD thinks the yard is too big for such a little pup, but I disagree. I think with how she runs around, the yard is the perfect size. But, here is a video of her playing back there. What do you think?

About Danielle Beranek

Life can get away from you when being young, married, and still fairly fresh out of college. Taking on a pet, student loans, going back to school, and soon a new house is enough to leave ones head spinning. For me, life is crazy, but only on the outside.
