Where are We Living?

I hinted yesterday (ok, I  led you up to the big announcement and then cut it off) that we have a place to live after our lease is up. Before I actually tell you where we are living soon, I want to thank all of the family members and friends who have offered us a place to live if it got down to it. We are very lucky to have all of you in our lives. But, on to the big announcement. Now that we have successfully made it past the home inspection stage that we didn’t make it past last time, I can announce that we are buying a house. I am still a bit nervous about making sure all of the mortgage stuff is in order and won’t feel 100% comfortable until after closing (Sept 26th), but we should be able to have a place to live.

I bet you would like a tour. Well, here is a photo tour of the place.

After you walk into the front door, you will be in the living room.

And, next to the living room is a big kitchen compared to the size of the house.

The kitchen has a sliding door that goes out onto a deck overlooking the backyard, but I will show you the outside last. We still have some inside to go. Down the hall from the kitchen and living room are the bedrooms and bathrooms.

First door you reach is the guest bath.

Opposite the guest bath is going to be my office and next to that is the guest bedroom:

Across from the guest bedroom is the master bedroom, with its own bathroom and a walk in closet:

Back in the hallway, there is also a laundry closet conveniently located by the bedrooms:

The downstairs is currently unfinished except for a small bathroom that we will just be redoing anyways and some framing. So, the beginning steps for finishing the basement are done we just have to finish it. The total upstairs living space is about 1250 square feet. So, the place is small but should be big enough for us for the next couple of years. Oh, I almost forgot to show you the outside:

You just have to love the huge fenced in backyard for Tasha to run around in.

About Danielle Beranek

Life can get away from you when being young, married, and still fairly fresh out of college. Taking on a pet, student loans, going back to school, and soon a new house is enough to leave ones head spinning. For me, life is crazy, but only on the outside.
